Tuition

Monthly tuition rates are as follows:

$140 …… Four 30-minute lessons
$210 …… Four 45-minute lessons
$280 ….. Four 60-minute lessons

Sibling discount: A 5% tuition discount is available to second member of the same household who sign up for private lessons. Discount does not apply to any lesson materials.

Studio Policy

Lessons

Students are expected to attend weekly private lessons all year long, and maintain a daily practice schedule to ensure steady progress. Holidays/vacation time are accounted for and adjusted, please check with the instructor when necessary.

Please arrange for timely drop-off and pick-up of students, so lessons can begin and end on time. Memphis Piano Studio will not take any responsibility for the welfare or wellbeing of students outside of lesson time.

Recital

Performing in studio recital is mandatory, unless given permission by the instructor. Studio recital is counted as one lesson of the month, no make-up lesson will be given for missed attendance.

Cancellation

A 24-hour advanced notice is required for cancellation in order to receive a make-up lesson. No-show will be counted as a lesson, and no make-up will be given.

Make-up/Rescheduling

When student cannot attend lesson in person, an online lesson will be given at the normal scheduled time. We allow two rescheduled lessons per semester. Missed lesson(s) will be rescheduled within the same month according to the instructor’s availability. Missed lessons will not be credited into the following month. Scheduled make-up lessons will not be rescheduled.

Tuition

Monthly tuition is due on the first lesson of each month. We accept cash, check, credit card, and Paypal. Credit card auto-payment service is available at no extra cost.

Transferring students

To avoid unnecessary conflicts, please finish all the lessons/classes with your current teacher prior to transferal.
