Introductory Piano Lesson

Thinking about taking piano lessons?  Try a fun, individualized piano lesson for just $10.

Memphis Piano Studio offers private piano lessons for Age 5 and above.  Whether you try it out for the very first time, or come back to the instrument after some years, we want to make your music learning experience positive and enriching.  

Our Introductory Piano Lesson is hassle-free, with no obligations at all.  You will receive a 30-minute private lesson, learn about proper posture at the piano, as well as basic note and rhythm reading.

Memphis Piano Studio currently maintains a full teaching schedule. Availability inquiries are welcomed via email or text.

Please note: Due to teaching hours, phone calls may not be returned promptly. Introductory lessons are scheduled by inquiry and may require a waiting period.

Performance Highlights

Spring Recital 2026

Over 80 students participated in four recital programs at our Spring Recital held at Lane Music Auditorium. Students of all ages and levels shared music with family and friends in a joyful afternoon celebrating growth, dedication, and performance.

Our recitals are designed to encourage confidence, musical expression, and a supportive community atmosphere. From first-time performers to advanced students, each recital reflects the hard work and progress made throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students and deeply grateful to the families, friends, and supporters who joined us for this special event.

Natalie Arnold at the
Steinway Young Artist Competition

Congratulations to our student, Natalie Arnold, on winning Second Place in the Steinway & Sons Young Artist Competition on October 25, 2025.

Natalie was also invited to perform in the Winners’ Concert held at Temple Israel on November 1, 2025. We are incredibly proud of her hard work, musical growth, and beautiful performance.

Congratulations to Daniel Marshall on his senior recital! Daniel has shown remarkable dedication and skill throughout his piano studies. His recent achievement as the winner of the Beethoven Club Young Artist Competition 2025 (Intermediate division) attests to his growing artistry and technical proficiency. This recital showcased Daniel's passion through a diverse repertoire.

On Saturday, March 15, 2025, the Lane Music hosted our studio recital, featuring near 80 student performers across four individual programs. The Auditorium was filled with joy and enthusiasm as every participant shared their musical talents. It showcased the dedication of each student, making it a memorable day for all of us.

Our community outreach - studio recital was held at the Benjamin Hooks Central Library on November 19, 2022 (Saturday). We are truly grateful to have had the wonderful opportunity to share some beautiful and uplifting piano music with our family, friends, and the community in the lovely and historic Shelby County History Room. This event allowed us to connect through music and create memorable experiences together.
